Job Summary
The CPS team in Dubai comprises of 4 dedicated staff members, 1 Senior GM overseeing sales and
marketing for all platforms, 1 GM handling Dubai operations and 2 assistant managers.
The new Assistant manager would be reporting to the Senior GM and assisting the SGM and GM with
daily operations as well as reporting and business analysis.
Role & Responsibilities
1/ Business Analysis and reporting
The responsibilities of the new assistant manager will include:
- Gathering and analyzing data related to sales, stock, destination control etc. Collecting data from
various sources and collating it into actionable format. - Assisting SGM & GM in stock and sales planning, monitoring aged stock, developing and updating
reports and presentations as required. - Obtaining market data relating to grey imports, extract Grey Vins to be reported and keep CPS
Market share and Lost sales live. - Assisting SGM with Budget and Annual Planning exercises. Supporting distributors with regular
request.
2/ Sales Support
Their responsibilities will also include tasks related to sales:
- Support sales team in compiling offers (making PFIs – checking stock, obtaining freight and
conversion rates when required). - Assist in compiling tender documentation if required.
- Assist with customer payment reconciliations.
- Support the sales team with approval requests (Distributors, TTC, TMC)
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Automotive technology/Mechanical Engineering or in
relevant field.
Skills:
- Ability to analyze large datasets, identify patterns, trends, and obtain actionable insights.
- Understanding of inventory management, forecasting, sales analysis, and supply chain
dynamics. - Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis, creating models, and generating reports.
- Ability to present findings and insights effectively to management using PowerPoint or other
relevant tools. - Managing projects, coordinating tasks, timelines, etc.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with both team members and higher
management effectively.
Experience:
- Previous role in data analysis, sales planning, inventory management or related field.
- Ability to manage projects or initiatives to improve business process.
- Minimum 5-year experience in automotive industry or related field.
- Experience in dealing with a diverse group of customers/nationalities.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
